Slice an Image into Multiple Pieces

Mark several areas of one image and download every piece as a separate file in a single ZIP — free, private and right in your browser.

How to slice an image

  1. Open the editor and drop in your JPG, PNG or WebP image.
  2. Choose the Slice tool, then drag on the image to mark each area you want to keep.
  3. Move or resize any region, add as many as you like, then click Download ZIP.

Why use this tool?

Slicing is perfect for cutting a sprite sheet into individual icons, splitting a contact sheet, separating panels from a screenshot, or exporting several crops from one photo at once. Your image never leaves your device — everything is processed locally in your browser, so it stays completely private, and each piece is exported in the format you choose.

Frequently asked questions

Can I select more than one area?
Yes — draw as many regions as you need. They can even overlap, and each one is saved as its own image.
How are the pieces downloaded?
All selected regions are bundled into a single ZIP file, with each piece named in order so they are easy to find.
What format are the slices saved in?
Each piece uses the format chosen in the download bar — JPG, PNG or WebP — at full resolution.
Are my photos uploaded?
Never. All slicing and zipping happens locally in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
